I have nothing but praise for the TAFE RapidRPL system of learning that is being run through TAFE. Over the past few years I had put off furthering my studies due to the fact that I found it difficult to commit time to the task with a small child, shift working husband, working fulltime and commuting from the Coast to Sydney, there did not seem to be enough hours in the day to further my studies.

Over the years I have worked in various roles in Sydney Ports and have gained knowledge and experience but when it came to my formal qualifications I had nothing current.

I would periodically have a look at the courses at TAFE hoping that something would somehow fit in with my lifestyle, recently I had another look locally and got onto the Wyong TAFE website to my surprise I found myself ticking all the boxes for the RapidRPL Program - I thought this is me I can do this so off I went. My Managers at Sydney Ports were very supportive of me continuing my studies so I had no excuse not to do it. After filling in my online assessments I was contacted by Wyong TAFE and set on the right path.

The Teacher/Assessor I have liaised with so far for Certificate IV in Business has been so helpful with subject selection and course content. She has been down to visit me at work and is very patient with me even when I am interrupted constantly whilst trying to talk to her - when I went to school the Teacher did not make house calls! The Teacher has guided me through the subjects I have completed so far and we liaise regularly via email - this is really helpful when I need to clear something up quickly or just to know if I am on the right track.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the RapidRPL style of study to anyone wanting to further their education.
